Meet the SVCU Employees: Kelly L!

At SVCU, helping members goes far beyond completing transactions, and Kelly embodies that every day. 

What is your favorite part of your job?
Kelly’s favorite part of her role is building real relationships with members. Whether she is helping someone find the right account or lending a listening ear, she takes pride in making members feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. 

Why is community involvement important to you?
Community involvement is especially close to Kelly’s heart. Living out the “People Helping People” philosophy brings her a sense of fulfillment, whether that means supporting a fundraiser, volunteering her time, or brightening someone’s day with a kind word. One of her most meaningful volunteer experiences is with Special Olympics Maine. 

What do you enjoy outside of work?
Outside of work, Kelly loves spending time with her family and going on weekend drives, never quite sure where the adventure will lead! She also enjoys shopping, baking, and cheering on her boys at their extracurricular activities. 

When it is time to relax, you will often find Kelly watching shows like Bridgerton or The Lincoln Lawyer with an iced coffee. 

Fun facts about Kelly
Kelly loves decorating the holidays, especially Halloween, which she starts preparing for in September. Some of her favorite getaway spots include Sebago Lake and North Conway, where she can enjoy the beauty of the lake and the mountains.
