6/15 Update: Teller Transactions Remain Drive-Thru Only, Lobbies By Appointment Only for Some Non-Teller Transactions
Starting June 15th, SVCU will continue with Drive-thru only for teller transactions. However, we will begin taking appointments for transactions that aren’t able to be done at the drive-thru. These scheduled appointments may be made for notary services, coin machine use, cash advances, and home equity closings. Please continue to use our drive-thru for all normal teller transactions. If you believe you need to schedule an appointment for a service that cannot be done at the drive-thru, please call us at 207-282-6169. Appointments may be made Monday – Wednesday 9-4 and Thursday – Friday 9-5. Lobby appointments will not be available on Saturdays. Our drive-thrus will remain open on Saturdays for teller transactions.
For appointments, please note the following protocols:
- Masks are required to enter our lobby. You may be asked to remove your mask briefly for identity verification. All employees in common areas will be wearing masks.
- SVCU allows 1 appointment at a time at each branch.
- Please remain in your vehicle and call to let us know when you arrive for your scheduled appointment time.
- Please limit those with you when you come into the branch to only those required for the transaction.
- All lobby appointments will be conducted at the teller line in the lobby, where we have installed plexiglass.
- Please practice physical distancing while inside.
- If you are feeling ill, please call to reschedule.
3/17 Update: Drive-Thru Only Starting 3/17/2020
As COVID-19 continues to affect so much of daily life, Saco Valley Credit Union wants to reassure you that we are committed to being here for you – just like we always are, and always have been. Our goal is to ensure the credit union services you depend on remain unaffected by the spread of the virus in our region, and we are working hard to ensure that happens. Your banking should continue to be easy, convenient, and available to you wherever you are and whenever you need it.
The health and wellbeing of our staff and members will always be our highest priority. With that said, out of an abundance of caution and as a precaution, we have made the difficult decision to move to a drive-thru only environment. This means that while our lobbies will be closed to members, we will continue to serve you at our drive-thru locations, as well as remotely through various means outlined here. You may also find a list of how to complete various types of transactions here. If you have questions about setting up online or mobile banking, or any of the ways to bank remotely with us, one of our Member Service Representatives can help walk you through this process.
We ask our members to remain patient with us as we work through this challenging time. We also request that if you have been exposed to someone showing symptoms of COVID-19, or if you are not feeling well, that you remain home and contact your doctor. The best way to limit the spread of this disease is to avoid human-to-human interaction, even at drive-thrus, with people who may be infected.
If you or anyone in your family has been impacted by COVID-19 and need financial support, we are here to help. Our staff is ready to provide financial guidance and discuss solutions that may be available to you. For assistance, please reach out to us at 207-282-6169. Finally, we want you to be aware of scams designed to prey on fear and uncertainty. You can learn more about these scams on the FTC Website.
Your accounts and money are safe with Saco Valley Credit Union. Saco Valley Credit Union is always working to serve your financial needs and we hope our ongoing support during this difficult time will provide you with some comfort. We will continue to keep you updated and contact you as circumstances change.
